Hello fellow hubbers... I am julie... I am a young teacher. They say that I am only 17 years old but don't be deceived by my looks... lol.. I 'll be turning 21 on July 27... I have loving parents named Marivic and Eliseo a.k.a. Lote (taken from our surname)... I have only one sibling, Michael, who is studying as a computer engineering student at AMA Computer College - Sta. Cruz... Our grandmother is also living in our house... she's really good in cooking... I bet you wanna taste her magic foods, huh?! lol...

Do you want to know something about me? Say please if you want me to say so... haha.. okay! When I was still young, I used to play with boys instead of girls... why? because I wanted to... lol... their games were more extreme and more exciting... We used to climb trees, to swim in the river, and to play pinoy games such as patintero, batumbata, tumbang preso, luksong baka and many more... that's how wild my childhood was... lol... It was great! I really enjoyed my childhood days... but time passes and change is the only consistent thing in this world...

In my high school days,  I was blessed to be involved in a folk dance troupe named "Bulwagang Sining Lahi Folk Dance Troupe." Our batch is the pioneer dancers of the said troupe. It encouraged us not just to show off our talents but also it made us responsible enough to discipline ourselves. In spite of being a student, I did my best to balance my academic subjects and extra-curricular activities. I experienced to go to other places for competition, to watch different styles of dancing and to promote appreciation of our own heritage. Our own folk dance reveals the true beauty of a Filipino and the Philippines itself. I was not ashamed whenever I stepped on the stage and dance our own music; instead, I held my head up high knowing that I was sharing the culture that most Filipinos don't take notice to.

Another chapter of my life turns its page, my college life. Wow, so refreshing... It seems that it was just yesterday, Well, I was a very responsible student then because I know that not everyone has the privilege to be there. So I worked hard and trusted God that He put me to that kind of profession because He has a great plan for me. Actually, the story behind this was, I didn't want to really take up Education as my course... it just so happened that our finances then were not enough to support my study even though I was a municipal scholar since high school. But God showed that this is really what he wants me to be. I realized that no one of His children could escape to His hand, to the path where He wants them to walk on. I passed the board examination for teachers (to God be the glory!).

One of the best gifts God gave me was when I went to Korea for a mission trip... a dream come true as others say... and  I am proud that I have a rich God who loves me unconditionally and gives me grace to be part of the church's vision.

Others who know me better say that I am one of the busiest woman they have ever met in their entire life... woooh! If you know me, do you agree? For those who don't know me yet, just get my schedule to my secretary (I hope that's true... lol). Every weekdays, I am a teacher while every weekend I am a servant of God. I am involved in some of the ministries in our church. I am part of the praise and worship team as a song leader , of the youth ministry as the vice president and of the worship committee from which I am the head. It's kinda routine for other people but for me, it's my life, serving my God and the people He entrusted to me. Join me:)

As a teacher, just ask my students... lol. Well, I am just the typical teacher you can see in the school, strict when I am inside the classroom but outside, I can be a friend to count on. I really want to impart something sensible to my students so that's why I strive harder to master my craft.

As a youth, I am jolly, fun to be with yet a sister to  cling to. I love music. The things I love to do are to sing, to dance (my passion), to draw and to play musical instruments. Sometimes, I hang out with my friends and treat my family something special. I am also fond of writing letters for my loved ones to show them that I love and appreciate them. More or less, I am a sentimental type of person who loves to keep even simple things that are given to me by someone. As a woman, I am very emotional when it comes to love. Others say that I am sweet, persistent and noisy and I don't deny it.

I'm glad to have another chance to live because when I was still young, I had an illness that almost led to leukemia. God healed me and revealed His glory to the people who witnessed that struggle in our life. So, as a thanksgiving to His faithfulness, I willingly involved myself to the church's ministries to serve my Healer and my Savior.

        Life without God is worthless!
